I was eight years old when Ronald Reagan was elected President in 1980. Even as a child I was fascinated with the concept that the citizens of this country have the awesome privilege every four years to elect not only their leader, but the leader of the free world. I remember cutting pictures out of magazines and compiling a scrapbook of articles and photos of my hero, Ronald Reagan. I still have those scrapbooks, and periodically look through them, longing for the day when the President of the United States will once again be recognized as a fearless and unwavering leader.

For decades I have been discouraged by the ungodly and unconstitutional actions of the men that have held the highest office in our land. The Bible says in Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” America has lost ground economically, socially, racially, militarily, morally, spiritually and internationally. It’s time to elect a man that has the courage and the fortitude to stand for what is right.

Not since those days as a boy long ago have I been this hopeful and excited about a presidential candidate. It is my prayer that patriotic Americans will join with me in doing everything possible to see that Senator Ted Cruz has the opportunity to once again restore honor, integrity, proven leadership and biblical morality to the office of President. I’m convinced if Americans will band together, we can see this man elected. Let’s pray, let’s vote and let’s get involved. If there’s ever been a time for God’s people to stand up and let their voices be heard, it is now. Let us do our part to put Senator Ted Cruz in the White House!
