Judicial activism prevailed in the Supreme Court, legalizing the abomination of same-gender union. Morality and decency have significantly plummeted. Nothing has been done about the proven atrocities of Planned Parenthood. Liberals have become more brazen in their attacks on religious liberty and have assaulted Biblical marriage. Federal Spending is greatly out of control. (We have an almost $19 trillion debt with almost 95 million people out of full-time work.)1 Obamacare is financially hurting middle-class homes and businesses. Common Core is dumbing down our children.
Let’s face it: America — a nation whose motto has always been “In God We Trust” — is going the wrong direction.
“It’s time that Christians across this land rose up, stood for truth, and voted for a candidate whose life has been built up upon on a Biblical, moral, and constitutional foundation.”Sadly, in the last election, 54 million evangelical Christians stayed home instead of going out to vote.2 The inactivity of God’s people has directly aided the atrocities that we are struggling with today. For far too long we have remained silent and still. Evil will continue to triumph if good men do nothing. For the 2016 Presidential election, we find ourselves standing at a pivotal point in our nation’s history. Our country is at the crossroads, and I believe it is time we took back America.
For the 2016 Presidential election, we may have the most dynamic and talented group of Republican candidates in modern history. But, the United States is in desperate need of the man who I believe has the true capability of guiding this nation back to the shining beacon of hope, freedom, and success that America ought to be. This Presidential candidate is Senator Ted Cruz.
Ted was raised reading the Constitution at the dinner table, according to Heidi Cruz. He spent hundreds of hours as a teenager studying and memorizing the U.S. Constitution.Ever since he was a young boy, he has been gifted with an “audio-graphic memory” — being able to remember practically every conversation exactly the way it happened.3 As a sophomore in high school, he became part of the “Constitutional Corroborators,” a group of five high school students who spent hundreds of hours studying the Constitution.4As Mrs. Heidi Cruz has mentioned, “He was raised reading the Constitution at the dinner table.”5 He graduated from Houston’s Second Baptist High School in 1988 as valedictorian of his class and went on to Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
He is a Constitutionalist. He believes that our government must be accountable to our nation’s supreme law and that the power belongs to the people. “Sovereignty resides with We the People,” he believes. “And the Constitution was created to lend power to government, not to give it, to lend it — and to lend it, I would suggest, only in good behavior. Thomas Jefferson referred to the Constitution as chains that bind the mischief of government — that sovereignty is an idea we need to get back to.”6
He is a genuine Christian who will lovingly guide our nation to goodness and greatness. I believe that he will follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit as he carefully guides our nation under the Constitution; and he will not make decisions based on a party’s approval, but upon the wisdom God grants him through much prayer. Cruz had openly declared, “Any president who doesn’t begin every day on his knees isn’t fit to be commander-in-chief of this nation.”7
“From the dawn of this country, at every stage, America has enjoyed God’s Providential blessing. And I believe God isn’t done with America yet. ”Ted CruzHe is a Guardian of Liberty and a Freedom Fighter. As Texas’ Solicitor General and in private practice, he won landmark victories for U.S. Sovereignty, the 2nd Amendment, and Religious Liberty. Cruz defended the Ten Commandments on Texas Capitol Grounds from legal attack by an atheist. Cruz won the case, 5-4, before the U.S. Supreme Court. He also represented all 50 states defending the rights of schoolchildren to acknowledge God’s role in our nation by retaining the words ‘One Nation Under God’ in the Pledge of Allegiance. Cruz won the case, unanimously, before the U.S. Supreme Court.8
Cruz is a man who will keep his word. He has publicly promised that in his first day as President, he will:
1. Rescind every single illegal and unconstitutional executive action taken by President Obama.
2. Instruct the United States Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute Planned Parenthood’s abusive and illegal activities.
3. Inform the Department of Justice and the IRS and every other branch of the federal government that the persecution of religious liberty is over.
4. Rip the catastrophic Iranian Nuclear Deal to shreds.
5. Begin the process of moving America’s embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.9
AND THAT’S JUST DAY ONE.
Ted Cruz still believes in the promise of America and desires to see the hand of God upon this nation once again! I believe that he is God’s man for this hour. America has been given another chance. Let’s get behind this dear brother in Christ for President!
